Saja: How did you meet?
Jessica: We met in Tel Aviv on an internship program after I graduated from college. He's from Denmark and we didn't speak the first month of the program because he seemed quiet and shy. I was very wrong, and when we finally spoke he was very funny, charming and we had a lot in common. The rest is history!

Saja: How did he propose?
Jessica: He proposed on the beach in Tel Aviv.

Saja: Where did the wedding take place? What made you choose there?
Jessica:
The wedding took place at Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, MD. My aunt got married there when I was 5 and I was the flower girl. I also took nature classes there when I was little. It's a beautiful venue, where the wedding was inside and outside. Jonathan and I love nature and being outside. It was exactly what we wanted.
Saja: What was your favorite part of the day?
Jessica: My favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle - I started waving to everyone and talking to our guests. It was amazing - I knew and loved every single person sitting there! My other favorite part of the day was when I got to see Jonathan. I wasn't a huge fan of all of the glam that morning, so it was a relief to be together.
Saja: Which of the photos is your favorite? Why?
Jessica: My favorite photo is the one of Jonathan and I walking together in the meadow. We both look so happy and I remember that moment well. The sun was starting to set and the air was amazing. Then we saw a deer!
