Marcy & David

Happy Friday! We're finishing out the week with Marcy & David's elegant farmhouse wedding at the Spring Mill Café in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania! Although we were sad to hear these two are moving out of the city, we certainly can't blame them after seeing the rustic charm of the area! Marcy is truly radiant in HB6285 paired with our crystal YL09 belt and an elegant piece of hair jewelry. Thank you so much to Simply Fabulous Flowers and Events for the beautiful florals and to Liz Ligon Photography for sharing these photos! Congratulations again, Marcy & David!!

Saja: How did you meet?

Marcy: We met online through OK Cupid. I was just about to put my dating life on hold because grad school had become all consuming, but just before I did, I checked my inbox, something I hadn’t done in a month. My husband had taken the time to write a very thoughtful note and because his email had stood out from the rest, I decided to make an exception and meet him. We clicked immediately and the rest is history.

Saja: How did he propose?

Marcy: We were in the Dominican Republic and David suggested that we go for a walk on the beach. In a quiet spot on the beach during the late afternoon, he got down on one knee and popped the question which completely surprised and blew me away. I said yes immediately….but then I turned away because I didn’t want him to see me crying, and I must have taken a few steps away from him because he then said, “where are you going?” The humor even in that moment is reflective of the humor that pervades our relationship.

Saja: Is there anything you can point out about your pictures that we might not have noticed?

Marcy: I loved how our photographer Liz Ligon captured the in between moments, the little details, and the emotional state of the person she was photographing. She captured a lot of joy. She also blended so seamlessly into our day that everyone actually thought she was a friend of mine. Her work is amazing.
Saja: Where did the wedding take place? What made you choose there?

Marcy: The wedding took place in an old French farmhouse in Conshohocken, PA. We had wanted our wedding outside of NYC, and since we were planning to move to PA, the location worked out perfectly. We also needed to plan the wedding within just a few months, so we needed an intimate venue that was willing to work within our timeline. Spring Mill Café was just the place. Plus it was quaint, had loads of character and history that I immediately fell in love with it. The only thing that didn’t work out was our plan to have the ceremony at a nearby park. It rained the morning of our wedding so we moved the ceremony to the porch of the restaurant.

In the end, it didn’t really matter. What mattered was the love and laughter that filled our ceremony!

Saja: What was your favorite part of the day?

Marcy: When my husband surprised me with a wedding dance. We planned a very small wedding with live music and a luncheon, with the idea that we’d have a big dance party a year later. But a week before the wedding, I was asking my fiancé, “you won’t mind if I just sneak out onto the porch and boogie down with a couple of people?” Dance has given me so much joy over the course of my life that I wanted it to be a part of our special day. Right before we cut the cake, my husband pulled out the computer, and we danced to “Overjoyed” by Stevie Wonder. His thoughtfulness overwhelmed me in that moment and I just started tearing up. He played a few more songs and encouraged the whole room to join us, which they joyfully did. It was such an amazing moment and he orchestrated all of it!

Many people have written articles about how they were helped but I am very grateful to this great man who brought my ex-husband back to me. This testimony is a true story and my name is Jennifer Sanchez. When I came in contact with this man was also through a testimony written about him helping with a cure for Herpes Virus and I have also encountered many testimonies about how he has been helping others with their life. To get back with an ex is one of the most innermost feelings many people would love to experience especially as those memories with our ex always cloud our mind when someone else does some of those things our ex used to do. I was a single parent of two boys for almost 6 years and though my ex-husband was not staying with me and the kids I still wish someday he will return to me. This doctor I encountered is known as Dr. Odunga helped me with my wishes and I am happy to write on this website that my ex-husband is back with me. I am very happy to share the testimony with everyone so that they too can meet this great doctor and solve their problems. I don’t know what others might feel about getting their ex back in their life but I always know there is a blessing in disguise with just a single re-connection with an ex. If you want to successfully get back with your ex or facing an infertility problem, contact this great man at odungaspelltemple@gmail.com Or WhatsApp/Call +2348167159012 and share an awesome testimony too just as I did

Everything looked so beautiful, befitting a radiant couple who deserve and have waited for such a day as this! May God bless this union which has brought much joy and happiness to not only the bride and groom, but also to the mother and father of the bride, Burt and Maddie and many more.
