Saja: How did you meet?
Christina: We met at work over 9 years ago and have been together (and still working together!) for over 8.5 years.
Saja: How did he propose?
Christina: He took me to the beautiful Untermyer Park in Yonkers for my 30th birthday. We walked into a lovely gazebo overlooking the hudson river, coincidentally named the temple of love! I had a hunch something was brewing throughout the day but was still so surprised when he popped the question. Best birthday ever.
Saja: Where did the wedding take place?
Christina: The wedding took place at Arrow Park Lake and Lodge in Monroe, NY. It was the perfect woodsy setting that we were hoping for. The landscape was stunning and the house overlooked a beautiful lake.

Saja: Is there anything in the photos you want to point out that we might not have noticed?
Christina: There’s one great moment captured after we had our big reveal. As we were walking down the steps he got a look at the back of my dress for the first time and his expression is priceless. I wasn’t even aware of that moment until I saw the photo.
Saja: What was your favorite part of the day?
Christina: The ceremony was my favorite part of the day. We had a very short and sweet ceremony but it was truly the most powerful part of the experience. I almost couldn’t get through my vows because I was so emotional but I wouldn’t change anything. A close second to my favorite part of the day would be the bonfire we held after the reception. It was great to kick back and relax after all that dancing!

Christina: My favorite photo is a group portrait with my parents, his mom and my brother and sister in law. It just screams happy to me. Family is really important to us both and this photo means a lot to us.
